Hey there, 👋 I’m Nathalie de Bruijn, the founder of Cachai. I want to share a bit about the passion that fuels Cachai’s mission and answer the question of what does Cachai mean.

Why Cachai? And what the heck does it mean? Well, first of Cachai is a word close to my heart, a piece of Chilean slang that means ‘You get it?’ Or ‘do you understand?’ To me this word embodies the spirit of Chile, a place that I called my home for almost 7 years.

Chileans have created their own words and sayings ‘Chilenismos’ to give them their own identity and in their ingenuity, have crafted words like Cachai to express more than just understanding; it’s a cultural symbol. It’s a call-and-response that transcends linguistics, signifying connection and unity. Cachai is more than a question; it’s an invitation to comprehend, to align, and to share a moment of mutual understanding. What I wanted to create with Cachai is a space where we are all about understanding. Understanding dreams, challenges, and most importantly, understanding how we can help you grow.
